Rarities for Pokemon cards can be confusing, and with the new Pocket app creating it’s own rarity system independent from the physical TCG, things get messy.
Here is a list of the new TCG Pocket rarities in order from Common, all the way to the Gold Crown Rares.
Common = Weaker Basic Pokémon
Uncommon = Stronger Basic Pokémon + Stage 1 + Supporters
Rare = Strongest Basic Pokémon + Stronger Stage 1 + Stage 2
Double Rare = Pokémon EX cards
Art Rare = Full Art Basic Pokémon
Super Rare = Full Art Pokémon ex + Supporters
Special Art Rare = Rainbow Full Art of Pokémon ex + Supporters
Immersive Rare = Immersive Artwork
Crown Rare Gold = Highest Rarity Gold Full Art of Pokemon ex
