The “Triumphant Light” mini-set is now available in Pokémon TCG Pocket as of February 28, 2025. This expansion introduces 96 new cards, comprising 75 standard cards and 21 secret rares. The set features Trainers, powerful Pokémon ex, and the debut of unique Link Abilities.
Many holo cards in this set possess Abilities that are enhanced when Arceus or Arceus ex is in play. These Pokémon cards display a ripple background pattern, reminiscent of the 2009 Platinum: Arceus set. Link Abilities activate when specific Pokémon are on the field together, offering strategic advantages in battles.
To celebrate 29 years of Pokémon, a special campaign is live in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Players who log in between February 27, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. PST and April 29, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PST will receive a Genetic Apex: Pikachu booster pack and a Genetic Apex: Mewtwo booster pack. These packs guarantee at least one card with a rarity of four diamonds or higher. Additionally, special Pokémon Day–themed missions are available until March 26, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PST, offering more rewards.
Ranked battles are also set to debut in Pokémon TCG Pocket this March. While detailed information about the ranked match feature is forthcoming, players are encouraged to start assembling decks and challenging fellow Trainers. Pokémon TCG Pocket is available for download now, providing an accessible platform for collecting and battling.
