New Destined Rivals ETB Promo Officially Revealed

In my last article about the Destined Rivals Pre-Orders dilemma on Pokemon Center, I mentioned that we did not see the ETB Promo card in any of the product imagery that was provided with the drop or announcement. That has since changed.

We now know the Destined Rivals ETB Promo will be an illustration rare of the Team Rocket’s Wobbuffet seen below. So far we have not seen a single sign of Jessie or James which is actually a total bummer. It feels like TPC is quietly pushing them out of the Pokemon canon. Why? We have no clue. But the lack of their presence is certainly felt. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a Jessie and James Full art reveal in the coming weeks.

Which Promos to Get

As a reminder, the regular ETB (mostly black design, no Pokemon Center badge) will only contain the regular version of the promo. This promo usually is worth quite a bit less than the Exclusive Stamped promo found in the PC Exclusive ETB (mostly red design, Pokemon Center Badge bottom front of box). The PC Exclusive also contains the regular promo unstamped, making it 2 packs heavier and gets you both versions of the promo.

I usually suggest that collectors go for the PC Exclusive version however with the current demand this might be quite impossible.
