The Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) is set to captivate fans with the upcoming “Prismatic Evolutions” expansion, scheduled for release on January 17, 2025. This special set celebrates Eevee and its eight evolutions—collectively known as Eeveelutions—each featured as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, introducing unique abilities and stunning artwork. The expansion comprises over 175 cards, including six ACE SPEC Trainer cards, 10 Pokémon ex, and 15 Tera Pokémon ex. Notably, it introduces two reverse holofoil patterns: one with a Poké Ball and another with a Master Ball etched into the background, adding an extra layer of allure for collectors. “Prismatic Evolutions” will be available exclusively through various boxed products, such as the Elite Trainer Box, Binder Collection, and Poster Collection, each offering themed accessories and promotional cards. Anticipation is high among Trainers eager to explore the vibrant spectrum of “Prismatic Evolutions” and enhance their collections with these dazzling additions.

The “Prismatic Evolutions” expansion is based on Japan’s “Terastal Festival ex” set, which was released on December 6, 2024. This Japanese subset primarily features reprints of notable Pokémon and Trainer cards from 2023 and 2024, including Pokémon ex and ACE SPEC cards. It also debuts Eevee and the Eeveelutions as Tera Pokémon ex and introduces a new Mirror Holofoil Poké Ball pattern that can appear on certain cards. Each booster pack of “Terastal Festival ex” contains 10 cards, one of which is guaranteed to be a Pokémon ex, enhancing the excitement for collectors.
