Did somebody say FREE packs?!
You read that right, TCG Pocket thought they’d celebrate and send us free packs in our Gifts in honor of Pokemon Day (an international holiday commemorating the day in 1996 when Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green were released in Japan). These packs aren’t like other packs…sure, you saw a Mewtwo, Charizard and Pikachu pack waiting for you, containing the same cards as the regular packs. But did you notice something different about them?
The final card of every pack is guaranteed to have a card of rarity ♢♢♢♢ or higher (like ☆ and higher). These packs can be claimed from your Gift box, from February 27 until April 30 – so make sure you log in! Sure, you could pull your 4th Squirtle or 5th Bulbasaur alt art. But, you never know, maybe they’ll send you a gold card! Personally, I’m hoping I get lucky and get that Mewtwo ex immersive card to close out the set for me!
