
The Pokémon TCG’s next Japanese expansion, SV9a Scarlet & Violet Enhanced Expansion Pack: Hot Air Arena, has been officially revealed.
This set is scheduled for release in Japan on March 14, 2025 and will introduce new Trainer’s Pokémon cards featuring Ethan, Misty, Cynthia, and Arven.
Trainer’s Pokémon and Pack Art Details
- The booster pack artwork features Cynthia’s Garchomp, Ethan’s Ho-Oh, and Arven’s Mabosstiff.
- Only Ethan’s Pokémon and some of Misty’s have been revealed so far.
- Cynthia and Arven’s cards have not yet been officially revealed.

Hot Air Arena
This set marks the first official Pichu card release in a TPCi region since HeartGold & SoulSilver (2010). In Japan, the last Pichu was the Mischievous Pichu promo (2022).
