The Scarlet & Violet expansion set “Glory of Team Rocket” (SV10) will be released in Japan on April 18, 2025. The set is themed around Team Rocket and features more trainer’s Pokémon with the label “Rocket’s,” such as Rocket’s Mewtwo ex and Rocket’s Persian ex. All Pokémon cards prefixed with “Rocket’s” are treated as the same category, regardless of the trainer depicted in the card artwork.
The expansion highlights a return to villain-themed deck building, encouraging players to build decks entirely around Team Rocket Pokémon. Trainer cards also feature major Rocket characters including Giovanni and other infamous rocket grunts.
This new Japanese Team Rocket set will be combined with Heat Wave Arena into the English set Destined Rivals, which is expected to release May 30th.
